The Texas Penwright folks operate a small shop in south Texas. All of our writing implements are made one-at-a-time, handcrafted from native mesquite, liveoak, cactus and deer antler as they are found “in-the-wild.” No two finished pens are exactly the same.

What is Popular?

There’s no question about it. The Mesquite & Liveoak Pen is, by far, the most popular. The contrast of the two native Texas woods and the black and white spacers really show off the craftsmanship.

The Mesquite & Cactus Pen is the one that got our little shop going back in 2007. Bits of prickly pear cactus (thorns and all) are permanently encased in the center. Want a real conversation-starter? Here it is.

Here’s our most popular presentation box with associations, business & corporate clients, and other groups. It’s made from 100% wood and can feature one or two pens. It engraves very well.
